Q:  What health benefits can I expect from a hot tub?
A:  The National Sleep Foundation finds that soaking in hot water before bedtime can help bring about a good night's sleep.

The Arthritis Foundation supports the use of hot tubs and reports that regular sessions in a spa help keep joints moving, restores strength and flexibility and sooths arthritis pain.

The New England Journal of Medicine reported that patients with type 2 diabetes reported reduced blood sugar levels and improved sleep pattern.

Q:  What's the difference between a Jacuzzi, a spa and a hot tub?
A:  The word Jacuzzi is often used to describe a spa because the product was invented by Roy Jacuzzi in 1970. Basically, the words Jacuzzi, spa and hot tub are used to describe a jetted, heated, water-filled tubs.

Q:  How many jets are in these spas?
A:  Actually, the number of jets in a spa is not as important as the variety, placement and adjustability of jets in a spa. Ask the sales professional to explain the different types of jets, placement and how you can customize your massage.

Q:  We have small children, what safety provisions should I look for in when buying a spa?
A:  Blue Water Spas has many standard safety features in their spas. First, look for a spa that is ETL or UL listed. Make sure that the spa cover that securely locks to stops any unsupervised access to the spa. The spa must have a light to ensure clear visibility when using your hot tub when dark. Controls should be able to be locked to avoid anyone interfering with your settings, especially the temperature.

Q:  Does the spa come with a warranty?
A:The Blue Water Spa warranty is a compressive easy to read with no fine print surprises. Quite simply, the warranty is ten years limited on the structure, ten years limited on the shell surface and two years parts, one year labor on pumps, plumbing and electronics. The integrity of the Blue Water name stands behind the warranty so you can be confident in the product and the services you will receive.

Q:  Do I need a contractor, plumber or electrician to install my spa?
A:  Blue Water Spas are completely self-contained and need only to be filled with a garden hose. No special contractor is needed although a concrete pad or other suitable surface will be required to support the hot tub.
